Unlike heat transfer, which applies a solid layer of film onto the shirt, DTG uses direct-to-garment inkjet printing to let the ink penetrate and blend into the fabric. This makes the design breathable rather than stuffy, and the print quality is outstanding — it won’t fade even after many washes.
